Pivoting
Yeah, kind of too soon for my 2nd pivot but I did some research last night before bed, and realized that there is actually a little bit of a trend going on with PTaaS (pentest as a service)
So it is basically a SaaS but I offer pentest services in a CRM-style dashboard and the customer just logs in and sees the vulnerabilities I find.
Sounds basic but it is what the guys at cobalt.io do for a huge price, I do it for 700/mo.
And I do find my price justifiable, I find OWASP top 10, and help you secure your business without any hassle, all of that while working very closely.
And this fits perfectly with what I am trying to accomplish, SaaS businesses will be more willing to buy my services this way since it is a way more common and modern approach.
So I woke up early AF, found a cool landing page, edit it and made it fit my brand better and I think I’ve done a pretty good job. I still have to create the dashboard but I will do that after I get my first client since I do not want to waste a whole day doing something I am not required to do.
I feel better overall, I am starting again to think I can pull this off, I still need a lot of luck but I believe that I am on the right path.
That’s all I can really do today, I have a bday party to attend later so yeah.
What’s the new plan? Well, the same old one, cold dm people and try to reach out to as many as possible.
Still the same target: SaaS businesses with revenue around 200-500K/yr.
I am thinking of niching down more again but I have to find a viable niche.
